These Terms and Conditions apply to all transactions between us (Outback Jacks) and you (The Customer). They do not affect your statutory rights. Please read them carefully.
By accessing and using this Website, and its products and services, you accept and agree to be bound by all of the Terms and Conditions. These terms and conditions will apply to all transactions placed online, by e-mail, telephone or by post with Outback Jacks. Please read carefully before placing any order. All contracts shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Irish Law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ireland. Nothing in these terms and conditions will be deemed to affect your statutory rights.
References to the 'company', 'us' or 'we' will refer to Outback Jacks. All references to the customer shall mean the person or persons purchasing or agreeing to purchase goods from the company. All references to the Web Site shall include reference to all URL's owned by Outback Jacks.
The Terms and Conditions are subject to changes and modifications from time to time. Any changes will take effect on the date to which they are posted on this Website. You should therefore check the Terms and Conditions before placing subsequent orders.
We do not accept amendments to these Terms and Conditions.
Failure by us to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions will not affect our right to enforce the rest of the Terms and Conditions.
Use of this Website
We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by any viruses or other technically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, programs or data as a result of your use of this Website or of your downloading of any material posted on it, or any website linked to it.
When placing an order on this Website, you are required to register with Outback Jacks. You must supply accurate and complete personal details. Should any of your registration information change, you must notify us immediately and change your details using the My Account section of this Website, when signing in.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account username and password, and for preventing unauthorised access to your account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account username and password.
We reserve the right to refuse access to this Website, terminate accounts, remove and edit content, or cancel orders at any time and for any reason.
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
To order goods on this Website, you must be 18 years old and over.
When purchasing goods on this Website, your order is sent directly to our secure till in our shop for processing. Once we have received your order and payment, our staff will pick, pack and dispatch the item(s). Orders will be shipped within two working days.
We are pleased to accept orders by any of the following methods. Online transaction (secure server), e-mail (unsecure), telephone, post, or through our shop in Ballybane, Galway.
Please refer to our latest catalogue payment section for details. All credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and are authorised by the card issuer.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Maestro, Solo and Paypal. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order.
No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder. General terms and conditions for website users and customers.

Items ordered online will be delivered as soon as possible in accordance with the requested delivery service. Charges for the different delivery services can be obtained from our Delivery information list and are also listed within the current main catalogue. All delivery charges are subject to change without prior notice.
Every effort is made to ensure that delivery is made within the estimated time scales and a maximum of thirty days. All goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply your goods within thirty days, we will inform you immediately and advise you of the expected delivery date. Anytime after 30 days, Outstanding orders / items can be cancelled. In instances where payment has already been made, (Post Orders with a cheque), an alternative or refund in full for the item(s) concerned will be given.
In the event of any goods delivered by us being damaged in transit, deficient of items shown on the delivery note or failing to match the items ordered by you, then such details must be notified by you to us within 3 working days of receipt. If we receive no such notification the customer will be deemed to have accepted the items as satisfactory. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss caused by late delivery or failure to deliver by the company's appointed carrier. Liability in such cases is limited to the value of those items, which are shown to have not been received by the customer.
Delivery windows provided by our courier companies are an estimate only and may change due to issues outside of our control. These could include but are not limited to issues such as inclement weather or traffic delays. If you need a delivery by a specific date, we recommend you use your Named Day delivery service/courier. We will endeavour to work with this company to have products ready for collection.
All orders are trackable and traceable.

We want you to be entirely satisfied with every purchase made from Outback Jacks and strive to offer you excellent quality, value and service at all times.
If you wish to return an item or you have decided not to keep it, please send an email with your order number to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will issue you with a returns number. The returns number should be clearly displayed on the item for return. No returns will be accepted without this number.
We will exchange or refund the cost of the item(s) where appropriate. All goods must be in a new and unused condition together with a copy of your original receipt and returned to Outback Jacks within 14 days of receiving returns number.
Goods must be returned:
- Within 14 days of receipt.
- In an unused/unworn condition including no unpleasant odours.
- With the original packaging/boxes/labels attached.
- Refunds are made onto the same card used for purchase.
- Loyalty points earned from the purchase will be deducted.
- Delivery charges will not be refunded to you.
If you wish to return any item due to it being faulty, please send an email to email@example.com stating details including images of the fault and send it back to us together with the item in its original packaging, where possible, within 14 days.
On inspection and agreement of faulty returned items, we will exchange the item or refund the full cost including any delivery charges incurred where appropriate.If you are in any doubt, please contact our customer service department. We are here to help you. We recommend that all items returned to us be sent recorded delivery with insurance paid as a minimum. Your local Post Office will be able to advise.
If you are unhappy due to a perceived technical product fault or misdescribed product, please contact us to arrange a return.
- Outback Jacks reserve the right to take a reasonable amount of time to make a decision on the product.
- We commit to reverting to the customer with a decision within 10 days.
- In certain cases, the product may also be reviewed by the Operations team.
- Customers will be offered in this order: repair, replacement or refund.
Any refunds will be issued once we have received the goods in their original condition and with the original receipt. This refund includes the total cost of goods sent only, NOT the delivery charge unless the item has passed inspection that there is a fault.
Until you return items to us you are responsible for their safe keeping. We do not accept liability for returned packages damaged in transit back to us. It is your responsibility to wrap products adequately to prevent damage, and to obtain a proof of postage certificate. Returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer and/or refund refused.
Due to reasons of hygiene, we are unable to exchange socks, underwear, whistles, towels etc.
Items must be returned within 14 working days from the date of delivery. Returns received outside this timeframe may be accepted at the discretion of Outback Jacks, and, depending on the circumstances, may not be refunded or only be refunded as a store credit.

With large orders, items may be dispatched separately, and subsequently, arrive separately. Please take note of those items featured in your dispatch confirmation e-mail. However, if something is missing, contact Customer Support immediately.
If you wish to return an item bought as part of a multi-buy promotion (e.g. 3 for 2, Buy One Get One Free, Buy One Get One Half Price etc.), all items purchased as part of that promotion must be returned.
Sale items may be returned for exchange not refund within 14 days as per above policy - Value as appears on receipt.
Refunds and Exchanges are not permitted after the 14 day period.
Please note that no returns are permitted on gift vouchers. Gift Vouchers should be treated like cash. If a voucher is lost, stolen etc. it will not be replaced under any circumstances. No cash can be returned in exchange for a gift voucher.
Cancellation of an order is only possible prior to the item(s) being dispatched. If you wish to cancel your order before it has been dispatched please telephone 091 761841.
As we try to process orders immediately, it may not always be possible to prevent an order from being dispatched. If your order has been dispatched you may return the items to us in accordance with our Returns Policy. However you will remain liable for the paid outgoing carriage costs.
When placing an order, you will receive an e-mail acknowledging the details of your order. This e-mail is NOT an acceptance of your order. It is a confirmation that we have received it.
A contract between us will not be formed until we send you confirmation by e-mail that the goods ordered have been dispatched to you. Only those goods listed in the confirmation e-mail sent at the time of dispatch will be included in the contract.
Until you receive the confirmation e-mail of the products dispatched, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason.
Prices shown on this website are in Euros (€) and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate unless clearly stated otherwise. The Delivery charge is an additional cost. Please refer to the Delivery informationfor further details. All prices are subject to change without prior notice.
We try to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are correct; however, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel an order under this circumstance, and if you have already paid for the item, you will receive a full refund.
Prices displayed on this Website apply to online purchases only. They are not indicative of the price of identical items purchased in store or by any other means, We reserve the right to update prices displayed on the website at any point.
On placing an order, you are required to provide payment details. When placing an order you confirm that all payment details provided by you are true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit/debit card used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of goods and delivery.
SALE, Offers & Rock Bottom Discounts
SALE, Offers & Rock Bottom discounted items cannot be purchased in conjunction with any other offer or discount. Unfortunately, promotional codes will not work against sale items - the discounts we usually offer to groups or affiliates are not available on sale items, offers or Rock Bottom discount items as these products have already been substantially discounted.
- Offers may be changed or withdrawn without notice by Outback Jacks and have no cash alternative.
- You must complete your purchase of the Offer during the Promotional Period in order to receive the indicated discount.
- Offers are available for Home Delivery and Click & Collect. Subject to stock availability, and whilst stock lasts.
- No voucher code or discount code is required to receive the discount.
- The promotion applies to products sold online only.
Gift Vouchers, Gift Cards and eVouchers
Outback Jacks Gift vouchers can be purchased instore and online, they are valid for a limited time and the voucher must be used by the date printed.
We will not take responsibility for lost, stolen or deleted vouchers. We will also not take responsibility for any delay caused to your gift voucher being dispatched. Please ensure that the correct e-mail address of the recipient of the gift voucher is provided on purchase. We cannot accept responsibility if the wrong e-mail address is supplied. Finally, we will not take responsibility if gift vouchers cannot be delivered to the recipients e-mail address because of spam filters, firewalls, the capacity of the mail box or any other factors outside our control.
Outback Jacks Gift Vouchers can be redeemed for goods instore or online at www.outbackjacks.ie However, our vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash or gift vouchers or be used as payment.
For purchases in store, where Gift Vouchers used have a greater value than the goods being purchased, no change will be given. For online redemption, if the value of the items purchased is lower than the value of the gift vouchers the remaining balance will be lost. Multiple Gift Vouchers may be redeemed in the same transaction up to the value of the goods being purchased.
Gift Vouchers will expire on the date marked on the Gift Voucher. Gift Vouchers presented after their expiry date will be treated as void and are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
Gift Vouchers cannot be returned or refunded, except in accordance with your legal rights. They should be treated as cash, as Outback Jacks is unable to replace a gift voucher if lost or stolen. Outback Jacks reserves the right to refuse to accept a Gift Voucher which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged or which otherwise is suspected to be affected from fraud.
Discount and Promotional Codes
From time to time, Outback Jacks may offer price reductions and promotions. These price reductions or promotions are valid for the stated time period only. After the promotional period has expired, the products involved will revert back to their full price. Once an item has been purchased at either full or discounted price, no price adjustment will be offered should the item be further marked down in the future.
When placing your order using a discount or promotional code, please be aware that the following exclusions apply: gift vouchers, postage, Rock Bottom items, previously discounted items, sale items and special order items. In addition, this offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Outback Jacks offer or discount.
Outback Jacks reserves the right to change any of these terms and conditions from time to time without notice and to take appropriate action including cancellation of Outback Jacks Vouchers, if, at its discretion, it deems such action necessary. Products are sold singly unless otherwise stated and every effort is made to ensure the colours depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product. Due to technical limitations, monitor display variances, some colours may vary. We may, from time to time, vary the dimensions, specifications and quantities of items displayed on this Website without prior notice.
Occasionally, we may be out of certain items and waiting for delivery. We will inform you by e-mail if this situation occurs.
Items in your shopping basket and awaiting purchase are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.
If we do not stock your preferred product, we can try our best to obtain the item direct from the supplier. However, the terms and conditions do change from standard stock and a special order:
- If ordering in store, they will require a 25% deposit on the product.
- Delivery can take 2-3 weeks.
- You need to be exact on your preference of colour and size.
- The supplier may charge a postal cost for a one off order and a small order charge may also be included.

Please identify clearly the area or part that has failed. All items must be returned in a clean, dry condition with your given returns number, otherwise they may be returned to you without attention. Further advice is available by contacting our Customer Service Department during office hours.
Distance Selling Regulations
You have a right to cancel your order for up to fourteen days following the day after the date of delivery for any item purchased through the catalogue or website under the distance selling regulations for refund. This does not apply to any perishable goods, unsealed software or item personalised or made to your specification.
To cancel any item, you can e-mail, fax or write to us quoting your customer number and order number. You must take reasonable care of the items and retain all original packaging. Returning your items within 7 days of cancellation will result in a prompt refund. Items may be returned to Outback Jacks store or to our Customer Service department. All goods are returned at your own expense unless the item is deemed faulty or incorrect, where we will refund the cost on receipt of the goods. Should you require your unwanted goods to be collected, we will deduct the appointed couriers direct costs from the refund given.
Providing the goods are received back with their original packaging and all accessories, you will receive a refund within thirty days of your notice to cancel.
We will not be liable for non-performances of our obligations caused or resulting from industrial disputes or any other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the company such as act of God, riots, civil commotion, flood, fire and legislation. If by reason of such circumstances it shall become impossible within a reasonable time for the company to wholly or partly supply the items ordered then the customer's liability will be limited to the value of the items already supplied together with any associated delivery charges.
Any complaint or compliment can be sent to our Customer Service Department via email email@example.com. We will endeavor to deal with your complaint within ten working days of receipt. In the event where we cannot resolve your complaint immediately we will advise a likely time scale to you and keep you informed of any investigation.
Any information displayed on our web site(s) or other printed matter by the company is not regarded to be authoritative or certified as the best practice and is only considered to be useful supplementary advice to other certified codes of practice. Pricing and Print Errors
Prices and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions. We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.
Ownership of Goods
All items supplied to the customer remain the property of the Outback Jacks until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.
